岩手県大船渡市における大規模林野火災や昨年の南陽市林野火災など、近年例を見ない大規模な林野火災が頻発しています。管内でも昨年の４月から５月にかけて火入れ・たき火が原因の林野火災及びその他火災が１２件ありました。これを踏まえて山形県では、令和７年３月４日（火）〜令和７年４月３０日（水）までの２か月間を「林野火災特別警戒期間」とすることになりました。
火気の取り扱いには十分ご注意ください。
